Mizzou fans and rational thinking do not go hand in hand

I grabbed this from tigerboard....instant classic

Is it possible that we turned down the Orange Bowl?
Perhaps the Orange Bowl wanted us as their choice, but took Kansas as the back-up choice. Perhaps Pinkel & Alden wanted to play in Dallas, Texas where we've got a serious recruiting pipeline underway, where we can easily get lot of our fans to, where lots of our current recruits and their families can see us play, where Chase Daniel will get incredible local publicity as a hometown hero, where we get to play a name opponent that we most likely can handle, and where we can still play on New Year's day as the first game out of the gate. Other than the Orange Bowl having a bit more prestige as a BCS bowl, we will get more mileage out of the Cotton Bowl. That's why I pose the possibility that the Cotton is what Pinkel wanted.

Yup, you heard it here folks, Mizzou turned down a BCS game to play on New Years Day at 10:30 in the morning, at almost the same time as the Outback bowl featuring Wisky and Tennessee rather than playing on the 3rd at 7:00 pm as the featured game of the night. Meth is a hellofa drug.

There is a total meltdown going on over at that board...talks of leaving the big 12, boycotting the bcs games, sabotaging the orange growers association and many other level-headed forms of showing their discontent. As always, it pays off in the end to be a Jayhawk rather than a lowly tiger...
Today, my friends, was a good day!

I also like the article linked from tigerboards called "Mizzou already is cashing in on the BCS bonanza". Seems a bit premature now... haha. I gotta go cause I got me a drop top and if I hit the switch, I can make the ass drop.

Christ, we do have retards on our side. No doubt about that. I'll give you Sedalia for a 6 pk of Boulevard.

Tigerboard, Phagnet, and Huskerpedia are great for things like "We wouldn't hire a black coach, because he's black". Ahhhh, the classics.

I wish I could say we would not have fans that made similar comments in that situation, but we know better. I will also trade you topeka for a sixer of boulevard and jug from flat branch I quite like their beer.
