Anderson Football Complex

Went by the open house at the brand spanking new Anderson Football Complex. I haven't seen many programs football facilities, but this has to be one of the nicest in the nation, it was glorious. New is best in recruiting these days. Also a few pictures of 'Gino, don't know how well you can tell from the shots, but he has lost a fair amount of weight(a lot to go though). See the rest here.

Was that Mangino's "skinny side"?

Nice view from his office, now if it just didn't have that track in it... That blackberry looks like tiny in his hand must be fun to bang out the letters with those paws. Weight room looks amazing.

Great pictures. Glad to see KU finally has the facility to compete on the elite level. What a view from his office. Seems the studio crews will want to set up in there for the big games. Not that he'd let them! ;)

"I haven't seen many programs football facilities..."

No, apparently you haven't.

It's nice that they put up a new building and filled it with sparkly things, but this facility isn't a recruiting tool or anything to brag about. Unless they're bragging to kids who aren't being recruited by anyone else, and hence, haven't seen many programs' football facilities either.

Seems to me community college cunt, that if you drop $12 million pesos on a new football facility and have press coverage from local and national outlets raving about it, it might, just might, appeal to a kid who is thinking about attending the University. Will the football complex be the reason kids sign? I highly doubt it. But, I'm willing to wager that if a kid is considering KU because of recent success and the salesmanship of our esteemed coaching staff that a brand spanking new football facility that reflects the administration's dedication to football might just push him over the edge and help him to sign.

Just out of curiosity, c-cubed, did you happen to tour the facility yourself or are you just trolling the internets looking for KU sites to flame?

also worth mentioning that it was $31mil, 12 was just Kivisto's portion

I apologize for my ignorant response. I had just tabbed over from the pre-season schedule prediction and the blood was boiling. I failed to think it through and came off as an uninformed jackass. For that I am truly sorry.

$31M. Had I included the correct figure in my post, it would have been that much sweeter.

I'm setting down my keyboard and taking deep breaths now.

I do know that benji-san will be "fueled" up for the FIU game which might involve some "dark corners." He might drop Kivisto's share and them some on a lucky lady who happens to strip for a living that night at johnny's...insider info(I read it on phog.net)

Yeah I have already taken out of my striperella fund enough to spring benji-san from his inevitable incarceration that night. Thank me later...

speaking of new facilities, any of you making it down to your USF game? Heard mixed reviews on the stadium. And go Bulls :)

Came in this morning to see a new look to the page. Love the SI covers on either side. Don't remember them there previously but the new look brings them out. Nice touch.
As for the negative comments from a CC player, I'm sure we didn't see everything in the vlogs and pic's and it is much different in person. He obviously won't be playing for us as we like players who can think before they act or open their mouths.

I'll be making the trip and maybe ginger we shall see. I will take some photos and we can discuss.
